caelis restaurant is opened in 2002.Its owner is Chef Romain Fornell.He is known for his daring, passion and balance.The restaurant seprate in two side first side, the dining room with space for up to 24 guests and second side open kitchen with a horseshoe-shaped bar and stools where 12 more guests can watch everything that goes on behind the scenes.Its famous tasting menus are Amuse bouche,Green olive with anchovy,Tart of trout’s eggs and dill,Cod with black garlic alioli,Sardine sandwich,Potato light waffle with Balfegó tuna ventresca,Fennel with caviar from Vall d’Aran,Bread croissant and Echiré butter.from 20th to 22th April 2017 you enjoy Green asparagus with burrata and seasonal vegetables, Shrimp cannelloni on avocado leaf with tomato mousse, Skrei cod with beurre blanc, hering of caviar and scented tarragon veil and many more.In 2017, Caelis moved to Hotel Ohla Barcelona. The move is also a turning point in the restaurant’s culinary offering and this new era will be more contemporary and less classical.
